Our Team of Experts

The Team

Painters North Shore is backed by the experienced team behind Above Board Interiors, a Kiwi-owned and operated Auckland business providing professional painting and plastering services. Our team is known for high workmanship standards, honest communication, and reliable service across residential and commercial projects.

Our plastering background gives us a strong understanding of the surfaces beneath the paint. We know how cracks, damaged plasterboard, uneven stopping, moisture, and poor previous repairs can affect the final finish, so we address preparation properly before painting begins.

From a single-room refresh to a complete interior and exterior repaint, every project receives the same careful planning and attention to detail. We arrive prepared, protect the property, keep clients informed, and leave the site clean once the work is complete.

Our Values

Local & Proud

As a Kiwi owned and operated business based on Auckland's North Shore, we understand the unique challenges of painting in our local environment — from coastal salt spray to high humidity. We recommend the best products for Auckland conditions.

Above Board - Always

To be Above Board - in open sight, without tricks, concealment or disguise. Completely honest. That's not just our name; it's how we operate every single day. We give you clear quotes, honest timelines, and realistic expectations.

Quality Over Shortcuts

We don't rush jobs to squeeze in the next one. Every wall, every ceiling, every surface gets the preparation and attention it deserves. A plasterer needs an eye for detail, and our team delivers finishes that look flawless - even long after painting.

Reliability You Can Count On

We show up when we say we will. We finish when we say we will. Our team is renowned for punctuality, precision, and friendly service, making every interaction stress-free. That's not a marketing promise - it's our daily practice.

Eco-Conscious Choices

We care about your health and the environment. We use low-VOC and non-toxic paints wherever possible, ensuring better indoor air quality while still delivering exceptional durability and vibrant finishes.

Customer First

Customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do. We strive to keep you informed at every stage of the project while exceeding your expectations. The team at Above Board offers exceptional service and will do a job they know you will be happy with.
